Devin Combs, CFA

In his role as Director of Acquisitions and Capital Markets, Devin focuses on three primary functions within the company. Devin is responsible for deal origination focused on the Mountain West Region where his prior experience and relationships are extensive. In addition, for all new investments he leads the underwriting and due diligence process from deal approval through closing. This includes debt capital structuring and the sourcing and relationship management of lenders. Lastly, Devin works closely with the CIO to lead portfolio construction and management, where his CFA training and prior experience with institutional fund managers brings a keen insight to the Graceada portfolio.

Devin brings ten years of experience in the real estate capital markets space, primarily focused on institutional structured finance throughout the Western United States. He has underwritten, structured, and executed on more than $5B in real estate transactions of various product types and business plans and has primarily operated in secondary and tertiary markets, with a focus on the multifamily and industrial sectors. His background in structured finance provides significant experience from both a debt and institutional equity perspective.

Devin attended the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) where he played quarterback for their Division I football team and was a member of the team’s Leadership Committee. He earned his MBA from UNR and is a CFA Charterholder. Devin is originally from the California’s Central Valley, having grown up in Oakdale, CA. In addition to being an admitted “capital markets nerd” he enjoys studying philosophy, loves being active in the outdoors, and sharing great BBQ with his dogs every chance he gets.
