Director of people operations

Sara Moran

As Director of People Operations, Sara Moran leads Human Resources, safety, and training initiatives that support Graceada Partners’ people and day-to-day operations. With over 10 years of experience in healthcare and nonprofit environments, Sara brings expertise in employee relations, recruitment, leave administration, workplace safety, incident management, and regulatory compliance. She is known for building high-performing teams, strengthening training programs, and fostering a proactive, people-first safety culture.

Sara joined Graceada with a strong background in HR and operational leadership, most recently serving as Senior Department Manager at Sutter Gould Medical Foundation. There, she oversaw HR and safety operations for multiple medical specialty departments, supporting more than 100 clinical and administrative staff. She partnered closely with HR and risk management teams to lead incident investigations, manage workers’ compensation claims, and implement solutions that reduced risk and improved workplace safety.

Earlier in her career, Sara held HR Generalist and supervisory roles within healthcare and nonprofit organizations, as well as HR leadership positions with national companies including Target and Walgreens. These experiences helped shape her practical, collaborative approach to policy implementation, compliance, and employee engagement.

Education
Sara holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources from California State University, Stanislaus. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, serving her community, and spending time with her husband and two children.
